History of Second Slavic Baptist Church, Sacramento

Second Slavic Baptist Church (SSBC) was founded by elders of First Slavic Baptist Church, Sacramento on March 16, 1997 in Northern Sacramento, CA, USA.
The current building of the church was built in the spring of 2002. The youth complex was added and completed in 2005.

SSBC was lead by the following senior pastors:
- Grigoriy Ivanovich Lahno (1997-2001)
- Mikhail Antonovich Kioroglo (2001-2006)
- Valeriy Brutsky-Stempkovsky (2006-2022)
- Serhii Solonenko (2022 - Present)
SSBC consists of more than fifteen nationalities, all from the republics of the former Soviet Union.
As of today, SSBC membership includes about 1,000 brothers and sisters who fervently serve in the church and in the community. These ministries include church service in English - United Service, 37 members of the elderboard, around 50 preachers, 5 choirs, various band and orchestras, around 150 youth (high school and college age), 185 children in Sunday School, 153 children in AWANA, 50 children in music school, and 19 more church ministries.
